Signature Head Move

A few months back, Nolan started this "Stevie Wonder" head move whenever he was especially happy. At first he did it only while laying on his back, but he's now "feeling it" when he's sitting and on his stomach. Here he is with Darren:

Come Visit!

To those impulsive types: I'm taking a yoga training on April 26 and 27. Unfortunately Darren has to work that weekend, so here is your opportunity to get to know our little guy (really, he almost takes care of himself), sleep on our new couch and tool around Hawaii. How could you say no?

Bath

While Darren has been working nights we've spent more than a few evenings at my friend, Elizabeth's who has an 18 month old daughter, Ella, and two dogs, Jake and Bailey.

I think Nolan prefers the Jake bath to the Ella bath.

Daddy Magic begins

For the first time, Nolan cried when Darren left the room today. I think Darren was pleasantly surprised.

Nolan has a way of latching onto you with his eyes and drawing you to him like a magnet. One minute I'm cutting carrots and the next thing I know, I'm standing there with Nolan in my arms, sniffing his hair. Total addiction.

My goal with this blog is to share Nolan's growth with you and fill the void we feel being so far away - living in Paradise can only compensate for so much. I'm sure other things will sneak in...news of note, bad days, ramblings, but mainly...Nolan. I plan on recording his firsts, his favorite things, his day-to-day activities.
